Another free camp called Polkadinny Park at Kyancutta, the town is pretty much dead, so many towns fail when the industry they rely on closes down, or the railway no longer goes through their town.
It has a self serve service station for fuel but the internet connection to pay for your fuel eith your credit card is spotty at best. The area behind the servo is the camping ground. Large areas to choose from with just us and a Winnebago. The servo has got loos but there are no locks on them, but overall a nice quiet place for an over night stop.
After a few cloudy days and camping at non-powered sites we thought we would be kind to Dusty and booked into a powered site at the Ceduna Airport Caravan Park and give the batteries some much needed help. Not a bad park with a large shower and toilet block as well as a laundry with normal and industrial size washing machines, so we caught up with the washing.
We did the touristy things and visited the surrounding areas of Thevenard and Smokey Bay. This stop was to refresh our batteries as well. We chilled at the van park and on Monday and had a feed of Smokey Bay oysters, I did them Kilpatrick style and they were awesome!
