We reluctantly left Whyalla and found the road to Cowell. We arrived about 11 in the morning and were lucky to score our camp spot. This place is really popular with the fishing crowd as we were a stones throw to the water. We took a look around town, this did not take too long to discover all it's wonders, small town but had all the basic needs.
We were invited by some of the fishing die hard's to happy hour and all was once again right with the world, great bunch of people. Did some catching up on the blog as we were way behind.
Next day after we got the shopping out of the way we went looking for the Ulbana Weir, this is when the current drought is slammed home, not a drop, not even a puddle, it was as dry as an alcho with no money. It is apparently fed by the Ulbana Spring, no water there either.
Another happy hour, we took the cayenne pepper biscuits some loved them some not to much, us included. Another late dinner was had.
