We were going to camp at Rapid Bay but there was no room to park the van. We figured since the weather was going to be really hot in Adelaide and Rapid Bay is only an hour and half away there was a mass migration of Adelites to the ocean. So on to plan B Cape Jervis Caravan Park, not the cheapest but the only option.
We played tourist and went to the lookout and watched the ferry depart to Kangaroo Island, another tourist trap we decided to miss at $200.00 return it was not in our budget.
Yes it was hot and after that food poisoning nonsense I figured John owed me a couple of beers. So we found the only pub at the end of the peninsula and had said couple of beers. Good company at the pub and was a great way to end the day.
