We took off from Mallala and headed for some comfort and a spare parts place as the hatch above the bathroom had given up the ghost and disappeared on route the day before. So with some searching on the net we found a caravan park and a spare parts joint in the same suburb. We said hello to the Highway 1 Caravan Park in the suburb of Adelaide called Boliver.
After setting up camp we headed out to Cara-Rest Caravan Supplies & Repairs. We figured it wouldn't be too difficult to replace and it wasn't. The phrase fiddly shit came to mind, scrapping the old silicone off the van, about an hour later and about two dozen screws we had our hatch in place again. Go Us!!! Mundane reared its ugly head and we went grocery shopping.
Friday we went to the City of Churches. Adelaide did not disappoint we took in all the sights including heaps of churches, The Adelaide oval from the outside as well as Rundle Mall. It wasn't until we got back to the van we discovered the camera for some reason had failed and as a result we have no pictures to go with this part of the blog.
Thoroughly peeved off we took our selves down to an English pub called the Slug and Lettuce, we place we had taken the kids when they were younger. Enjoyed the beer and came home just a little bit happier.
