After a more peaceful sleep we were refreshed and set off again for parts unknown. We went through Ararat to Green Hills Lake Reserve, a lot of campers and too few facilities so we moved on. We took a chance and went to Langi Ghiran State Park, very nice picnic tables every where, clean drop toilets. Did the shortest of the bush walks on offer 2.6km's round trip, all up hill there and all down hill back. This easy walk as they called it was to a reservoir. We found what we thought was the place only to realise we had not walked far enough. What we had found was a small overflow reservoir, so more up hill, when we found the one were looking for were rewarded with a much larger body of water and lovely views. We spent two nights there just chilling out. We would definitely go there again, no problems.
