Timboon VIC

Said farewell to Princetown and hit the road to Timboon just a little bit north and a bit more inland. We arrived at the recreation reserve, set up camp on a nice level site and just lazed about, sometimes it is refreshing to just relax partiality when the last two days were go,go,go!
Tuesday came so thought we better explore the wonders of Timboon, is a smallish town, population of just over 1200.  We went to the Ice-creamery and had an ice-cream each and wondered over to three well behaved kangaroos, just joshing these guys were made out of scrap metal and tools, a short walk from there is the Whiskey Distillery, great whiskey but way out of our price range.
The Great Rail Trail is a big tourist thing down here, it's all about the by gone era when the train system was the best way to send and receive goods around the state. The rails have been ripped up and in there place they have put in there place pushbike and walking trails. Just out of town was a rebuilt trestle bridge, all done by volunteers, and now you ride and walk over it.
At camp we were thoroughly entertained watching Mr and Mrs Blue Wren attack there reflections in the mirrors of the cruiser, all very amusing until we saw how much poop can come out of two tiny birds, this was made even worse when we noticed the windows were down. The wrens weren't the only wild life, apparently it's mating season for Koalas and the males grunt and growl to attract a mate, that's great during the day but in the middle of the night it is down right frighting if you didn't know what was make all the noise.
