Avoca VIC

Made camp at Avoca Lions Camp, we camped on the side that had toilets and water. Filled our tanks, set up camp and took a wonder through town. Guess what found the pub and had a couple of beers.

Apart from the wineries isn't to much to do for what interests us, so Saturday we did some driving around the surrounding areas and took a look at the Chinese Garden at Avoca, also called the Garden of Fire and water although small it was very beautiful and everything you would expect,.
Gold had been discovered in the area and with it the town had expanded. The Chinese community had set up a camp hoping to make their fortune too.
On the upside the weather got warmer and the wind did die down just a bit. Oh well you can't have it all.
