Yarram VIC

Pulled into a rest area just north of Yarram but an easy walk into town. Best part it is free and no limit how long you can stay, but you must be fully self contained.
We stayed the Sunday night and then headed off to Port Albert for a night. Easy going little town, but  you can only stay for 24 hours, however the site is right on the water and does have toilets which were nice and clean.
Needed to get the ute serviced and the only place near by was back at Yarram, so we pulled up stakes and set off back to Yarram on the Tuesday, service happening on Thursday.
As we were kind of stuck there we looked at the Yarram Museum, for a small town and some fond memories. Quite the collection some artifacts  date back as far as the Boar War.
Put the car in on Thursday morning and amazingly we had it back about 1pm,  so we  took our time and cruised through the Tarra Valley and Bulga  National Parks, two of the more beautiful and stunning parks we have been through, with all the giant trees and the massive tree ferns we could have been travelling through a rain forest up in Queensland instead of Victoria. Wow!
