We arrived at Cann River and are staying at believe it or not a free caravan park. No power available or hot water in the showers, but we do have a free gas barbie, tap water and toilets. We think the caravan park went bust but the council lets people stay for 48 hours then you have to move on.
We spent the first day at Croajingolong National Park with a 4.4km return walk to Point Hicks Lighthouse. As we looked out on Bass Strait we spotted some dolphins having fun in the waves.
We used the next day for cleaning and maintenance day.
Before we left we took a short walk on a bush track that was at the back of the van park. Quite beautiful and full of wildlife. We spooked a lot of wallabies as well as some scrub turkeys and birds as well as a couple of lizards.
