On the road again slowly making our way back home, just another short run to Kurri Kurri. This town is also known as the town of murals and there are a stack of them and each one has a kookaburra painted into the picture all you have to do is find it, some are easier than others. While in town we caught up with Johns cousin Pam and her husband John, they don't live that far from here, we had a couple of drinks and a lot of laughs, it was great to catch up with them as we we hadn't seen each other for about 13 years. The next day we did a tour of some of the wineries and yes there is a stack of them too! To bad John was driving so I had to do most of the tastings, bugger! The last night here before going home (temporarily) so we decided we will go out for tea. The Kookaburra grill at the bowling club looked alright, it was better than alright. Food was excellent and the staff great would go back again if the chance presented itself.
