We left Nundle with a fond farewell and hit the road, let's just say that the Beatles song The Long and Winding Road has got nothing on the Oxley Highway, more twists and turns than I thought possible. Fortunately about half way was a little cafe called Gingers, after we demolished a great feed we tackled the next 150kms of our trip to Ellenborough. Great free camp right on the river with green grass, something we have seen little of over the last six months. A good spot to charge the batteries for the next day.
