After a couple of days at Lighting Ridge we headed south to Coonamble. We discovered a free farm stay called Nakadoo. When we pulled in there was only one other van, this soon turned into four. We were greeted by the owner Karen and immeadately felt welcomed. We chatted with Gavin and Bobbie the residents of the other van and found out Gavin played guitar and was all up for having a sing along which was made more fun by the arrival of two more vans. After some singing and stirring we left, had tea and regrouped at the fire for drinks and more stirring.
The next morning as we packed up to leave we had one of the farm cats come and visit us, he decided that further investigating needed to be done in the van, it took us two goes to get the curious little bugger out.
