Tibooburra NSW

Left Innamincka at 8.30am, we thought the Innamincka road was bad. This one started off OK, but rapidly deteriorated to crap. By 4.30 we couldn't take any more and pulled off the road to make camp. This was not an official road side camp so we decided to name it Triple C, Cow and Calf Camp after said cow and calf close by. Next day bounced and jiggled our way into Tibooburra. Booked into the Granite Van Park for a little luxury, power and water. All those things like phones and computers and the likes needed to be re-charged. Strolled down memory lane the next day, looked for our old camp spot from 32 years ago that went by the name of Dead Horse Gully. Maybe it was a fading memory but it didn't seem to be in the same place. Talked to a guy who was around in town at the time and he also thought the same. A highlight of Tibooburra was with most towns they have a dedicated spot to empty the on board toot, couldn't find it inquired at the servo and was told "yeah mate it's at the dump".  Arrived looking for the sign to no avail, asked a couple of guys there and was told the two holes across the way dug into the ground were the dump points our choice. Only in the country.
