Rocked up to the town of Cloncurry and decided to stay at the caravan park. History, this town has heaps. The town was started by a bloke called Earnest Henry who was looking for good grazing and instead found copper. Home of the first regular flights by QANTAS as well as the first John Flynn Flying Doctor Base. During the Second World War it was a major USA Army/Airforce base.
