Our next stop was at Camooweal where we camped on the bank of the Georgina River. Nice town again small a service station and a pub and very little else. There is the Camooweal National Park that has the Camooweal Caves, best described as mud that has dried and cracked up, only they are rocks that have been weathered and eroded. The caves are actually sink holes and are the home to bats and owls and are quite deep. Due to the unstable rocks at the top entry to the caves is prohibited. The highlight for us was relaxing by the river with beautiful water lilys and abundant bird life, it just doesn't get any better!
