Before I get into the Birdsville stuff, I have to tell you we got a surprise at Bedourie late in the afternoon. Organising tea and what should pull up outside the roadhouse but the seafood truck we heard about from other campers about a month ago. So $125.00 later we replenished the freezer. Next day we headed for Birdsville, not that long a drive only 164kms but mostly dirt and corrugations.We had made plans to have tea at the pub and have a good time reminiscing. Booked into the caravan park, wandered over to the pub for tea, lovely roast and vegies and a few beers $100.00 later we left. Reminiscing is costly, oh well you don't do it every day.
