Continuing with the any road will do we left White Cliffs went thru Paroo Darling National Park and stopped for morning tea at Perry Lake well you think crystal waters lapping the shore line will how about dry as dry with a few kangaroos hopping in the far distance, our dollars at work the National Parks prepared for the possible filling of the lake when the Darling river floods in the year 2050 had erected a very nice shelter with tables and chairs and a gas bar-b-q (free) as well as a drop toilet.
Hitting the road we had 100+ km's of so so dirt road and it was very rough till we got to Tilpa the town with 2 houses and a pub, we stayed out of town a bit at the weir on the Darling River not a bad camp stop shared with some goats and cattle all was good.
Camp setup we went back to the pub to enquire as to which road was better to get to Bourke the barmaid said the eastern side of the river was better.
