Cunnamulla QLD

Cunnamulla is a small town on the Warrego River and has no issues with the local Aboriginal people and the ones we saw where friendly and no young kids running around town unsupervised unlike Bourke.

We are staying at the caravan park in town their is another one about 5 km down the river, it is run by a young couple who are very nice. They have made up site numbers from old wood iron and barb wire.

It is very hot today 39 C with a hot northerly wind  so we have the a/c on working hard. We did go to the local weir to check out the water lever not much in the river at all and below the weir was dry, thank god the towns water is from a bore.
