Weddin Mountains National Park NSW

Last night we spent a quiet time in Weddin Mountains National Park, what a great camp loads of room with drop toilets. It was so hot I got the generator going 1st to charge the batteries which have been copping heaps and with the cloudy conditions not charging fully and 2nd to run the air cond in the van.

We had the place to our selves all arvo, then out of the blue can a man and woman riding push bikes in 40C temps mad. Well they where looking for cool water they checked out the toilets the water came from a small tin tank attached to the building and was very hot. We offered and gave them our cold water from the fridges which they where very thankfull for. (They did have a 10L plastic bottle of water on the back of one of the bikes but was very hot)

After a night of storms this morning we woke to 30C temps but cloudy so this was as cool as it was going to get, so Sue and myself took off for a walk to Ben Halls Cave up the mountain.
