When you think of Mudgee WINE comes to mind well we did not go to one winery instead we did the town centre and went to Gulgong and did the walk thru, not much has changed over the years.
We checked out a free camp half way between Mudgee and Gulgong, different in you need to go thru a gate but have confirmed not private property but a stock route holding area right on the Cudgegong River, good spot for a 39C day tomorrow.
The weather started to change and it rained as we returned to base at Mudgee Showgrounds ($15/n Non Power) but got back before the storm, saved the washing all is good.
Tomorrow we will go to the free camp for same R&R in the cooling waters of the Cudgegong River.
